Christmas Gifts for Disadvantaged Children
Every year, we provide Christmas presents for over 1,000 disadvantaged children under the care of the Social Services in Wandsworth and Richmond.
We do this in two ways :
• We take donations of gifts which we pass on to disadvantaged children.
• We take donations of money which we then use to buy gifts on your behalf.
Our team is totally voluntary and we have no costs of any kind. Everything (including this website) is donated to us.

Gift Tree at a Glance
Gift Tree was started by Anna Pritchard in 2006 when having approached Wandsworth Council with the concept she organised presents for 173 children. Each year since, the roots have been spreading and Gift Tree now provide presents for over 1,000 children across Wandsworth and Richmond areas.
Anna Pritchard was joined by Kate Poyser, Jo Aylin and Audrey Wang. They work with parents from local schools, church groups and companies to provide for this worthy cause at a very hectic time of year. Gift Tree is not a Registered Charity; all the organisation is voluntary and provided at no cost, thus ensuring that every penny or present donated goes directly to the child in need. In 2016 Anna retired from Gift Tree but Kate, Jo and Audrey are continuing in her stead.
Gift Tree have been working with Wandsworth Social Services since 2006. In 2017 we started working with Achieving for Children, a social enterprise company created in 2014 by the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to provide their children’s services www.achievingforchildren.org.uk.
